Introductory Psychology Resources

This website has been designed to foster cooperation between Introductory Psychology Professors. It was prompted by a trend seen on a popular teaching of psychology listserv where many threads repeated themselves such as popular songs and movies suggestion requests to use the in the classroom. This site has specifically designed to house creative unusual resources that may be used by teachers. Currently there is a plethora of well designed, excellent resource sites on the web. It is my hopes that this site will offer a variety of unusual resources that serve professors who would like to test out novel, unconventional ideas in the classroom.

The site is maintained by Amy Sweetman at Los Angeles City College, but contributions are from a variety of sources. It is my hopes that the site will recieve multiple nationwide contributions so that our teaching practices may be facilitated by the accumation of diverse ideas.

This site will be introduced at a Regional PT@CC convention on February 15, 2007
